Scannell Properties acquires 157 acres in Bonner Springs, KS, for industrial development
Project is company’s third current large logistics development in Kansas City metro area
Indianapolis, IN (April 16, 2021) Scannell Properties, an international commercial real estate developer, has launched the first phase of the Compass 70 Logistics development on 157 acres in Bonner Springs, KS. The multi-phase, $100 million industrial development could include three buildings totaling 2 million SF once complete.
This is Scannell Properties’ third major development project to launch in the Kansas City area in the last 12 months, with all three developments potentially totaling over 6 million SF of prime industrial and logistics space. The other developments are 435 Logistics Center in Kansas City, KS, which has a 1,083,000 SF build-to-suit development currently under construction, and I-35 Logistics Park in Olathe, KS, which has a 568,000 SF speculative development breaking ground in May.
Located at I-70 and 110th Street, conceptual plans for the Compass 70 Logistics project include three Class A industrial buildings with ample auto and trailer parking. Buildings are flexible and can be built
to suit.
