Scannell Properties appoints Hugues Desbarrières for French expansion drive

Real estate development and investment company Scannell Properties is set to intensify its growth plans in France with the appointment of Hugues Desbarrières. Desbarrières, joins the company this week and will take on the position of Development Director, France.

Desbarrières’ role will see him working closely with Scannell’s occupier and investor clients to identify and acquire key strategic sites and develop them into modern, high-specification logistics units, in response to the ever-growing demand for prime industrial and logistics facilities throughout France.

Desbarrières brings over 10 years’ experience in construction, development and real estate investment, most recently as Development Director at logistics and industrial real estate investor, Dentressangle and before that, at major retailer Lidl where he oversaw the development of its logistics and office space throughout France.
