As Technical Director, Spain, Jose plays an active role in project development, interacting with clients on technical issues and supervising all construction matters to ensure the highest standards of quality in every project.
Prior to joining Scannell, Jose was Director of the Madrid office at Construction Contractor, Cubic, where he headed up large-scale property projects. During his 20-year career Ortega also held the role of Construction Director at specialist logistics construction company Coperfil. Jose qualified as a Civil Engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has a masters in Management of Real Estate and Construction Companies from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid.
